This is the Chernobyl Dice: a Cold War era themed quantum RNG. It uses the clicks of a Geiger counter nestled next to an array of uranium glass marbles to generate random bits displayed on Nixie tubes.

This is a *disgustingly fair* dice and I’ve run the tests to prove it, lol

Growing up I was often “the smart kid.” The first time I got a B in a class, in 8th grade, I cried. I kind of put it at the core if my identity.

I don’t know when I realized I had completely stopped caring whether anyone thought I was smart or not, but it was an incredibly liberating realization.
