Animorphs (and a reference to Christmas)

I'm missing a page from my notes on the computer forensics lecture in school. Any of you geeks happen to know what that one Russian antivirus program is called? The one that's rumored to have a backdoor, but otherwise outperforms Norton?

if you think that you can’t be nonbinary because you think you don’t look androgynous this is your reminder that you don’t owe anyone androgyny. if you feel enby, you are, and i love you.

I wish everybody knew about outline.com

when "hey you should read article! [link]" leads you to some hideous monstrosity of popups, autoplaying videos, and begging for/demanding money to read the damn text, you can instead:

1. copy the URL
2. paste it into the outline.com box
3. enjoy reading the actual text
4. (optional) say "not today, Satan"

sometimes it doesn't work, for some mysterious, unexplained reason. outline.com sometimes chokes on NYT articles, for example, but other times if I close the tab it's in, open an new tab, and try pasting the url again, it works, so.

anyway yeah! spread the news!

Timeless style is wisest, but I'd still like to know what's changing with fashion. What's the fastest way to get up-to-date info about current fashion trends, with the least struggles with having to guess about what those trends are, and the least exposure to bummer impossible-beauty-standards BS?

Try to find an up-to-date globe or map in a second-hand store, and see that nations are merely humans' passing fads.

Can you help me brainstorm some events that are supposed to happen on a predictable regular cycle, several years apart? In addition to:

* Leap year happens every 4 years. (US Presidential elections are in leap years.)
* You're supposed to get a tetanus booster shot every 10 years.
* Periodical cicadas emerge every 17 years.
* Halley's comet returns every 74 to 79 years.

This is for a project that I'm working on. What other cycles like this can you think of?

Head's up, I'll be scarce on social media all next week, due to having a lot going on. All's well.

It’s doubtful that wearing a surgical mask protects me from germs on the bus, but it does keep my nose warm.

Xmas

What if there was a baby name list, only it was a list of cool names for plural systems?

Serious question, how do you find light bulbs that don't make a high-frequency noise?
