Does anybody else get this weird sensory thing?
Does anybody else get that thing where, if you touch someone-- regardless of whether you put your hand on their shoulder, or they put their hand on your shoulder-- you get an unpleasant sensation of kinesthetic feedback, a lot like the full-body thump that you get when you're riding an elevator that lurches near its stop?
re: Does anybody else get this weird sensory thing?
Yeah, exactly! Like that!
I don't know if it's a universal thing, or a neurodiversity thing, or a thing that has to do with the relationships and emotions of the persons in question, or a woo-woo energy thing, or what.
It does sound similar to what experts at tai chi are supposed to be able to do on purpose: to use their chi to make others lose their balance and fall down just by touching them. I wonder.
